Magnet Open House - Wekiva Culinary

Is your student interested in applying for a spot in the Magnet Academy of Culinary Arts at Wekiva High School for the 2022-2023 school year? If they love cooking, are curious what a job in the restaurant industry would be like, are interested in making a career out of serving amazing food and providing great customer service, want to explore the science behind the recipe, love the idea of competing for trophies and accolades… then we are PERFECT.

Our OPEN HOUSE this year will be virtual on FaceBook Live and is a great way to get a taste of what being in the kitchen will be like. Watch Chef Bates teach students in real-time. Ask questions. Take a virtual tour the facility. Talk to current students. Plan your next steps with the help of an academic advisor.

Wekiva Culinary Magnet Information

Wekiva Culinary is now the Magnet Academy of Culinary Arts at Wekiva High School.

This means students from all over OCPS may apply to be admitted, regardless of what school they are zoned to attend. If your student is passionate about cooking and a career in the Culinary Arts, is interested in owning a restaurant one day, or is just curious about what the food and beverage industry is all about, apply for admission today!
