Coach Matthew Makransky entered the hospitality industry as soon as he could. He started at the age of 14 and has not looked back since. After high school, Coach Makransky enrolled in the Rosen School of Hospitality, graduating with a bachelors of science in hospitality management in 2020. Right after he graduated from UCF, he started a new chapter in his life: becoming a Culinary arts instructor at Wekiva High School. Coach Makransky is focused on giving his students the knowledge of food safety and preparing his students for finding high-paying careers in the Hospitality industry.
Coach Makransky looks forward to helping the growth of the Magnet Academy of Culinary Arts, leading the FCCLA chapter at Wekiva to success, and helping students grow into professional young adults.
